Children and Family Services Association-NC (CFSA-NC) is a trade association of over 50 of North Carolina's highest quality agencies and organizations who provide services to the states most vulnerable children and their families.The association serves as a collective voice with state leaders and public officials which is accomplished through several committees and workgroups of members of CFSA-NC. The strength of the association is fostered by the involvement by member agencies. The majority of meetings are held by voice and/or video conference to eleminate travel costs for members agencies. Contact information for committee chairs is located within this table.Committee/Work Group | Description | Meeting Schedule | Quality & Practice Committee (Q&P) | The quality and practice meetings are held monthly to discuss issues related to state policy, regulations, billing and legislation which affects service delivery. Recommendations from the Q&P meeting is used by the association to advocate for quality services and bring awareness to policy-makers and public leaders of the needs of providers and the families they serve. Location: via WebEx | 10:00-12:15 pm February 17, March 17, April 21, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, November 10, December 8 | Foster, Adoption and Resident Care Committee (FAR) | Similar to the Q&P meeting, this committee works to identify state policy, regulations, billing and legislation which affects service delivery as related to residential and foster care. There is also a focus on services funded by DSS. This meeting begins immediately following the Quality and Practice meeting and a short break for lunch. Location: via WebEx. Chair: Keith Henry
